The course examines the Louisiana Code of Civil Procedure and covers jurisdiction, venue, judicial power and authority, court officers, actions, parties, pleadings, citation and service of process, discovery, trial judgments, post-trial modification of judgments, appellate procedure, execution of judgments, summary and executory proceedings, probate procedure, and special proceedings.
